Day 11 The Flights are Booked

12 May 2016 9:01pm (3 years ago)

Well, we've booked flights to Berlin so technically we could just be going to Berlin for a long weekend.

We've actually booked, 3 flights for Kinga, James & myself, 2 bikes and 1 bag checked in to.

2 bikes? Yes I'm borrowing a bike over there from my very good friend Tomasz (he bought me a hat don't you know, a red one).

We're going to be picked up from Berlin on the way to the Czech Republic, apparently they have to go that way anyway and it saves us getting up at some ridiculous hour of the morning.

Yesterday I didn't ride home because I went to meet a friend at Craft Beer Co and didn't want to:

So this morning I had to get the tube, I didn't like it and wished that I'd had my bike. What's happening to me.

After work today, I walked down to Spitalfields to check out Evans Cycles. I was looking for some cycling shorts and a new top, I didn't really have a clue what I was looking for and came away disappointed. Across the square there's a Cycle Surgery and I found a pair of short in the sale, which I like a lot, they're really comfy and they make me look like a cyclist.

Distance: 8.6 miles
Time: 00:42:47
Average Speed: 12.1 miles/hour
